your world fell apart.
you have been burned down,
beaten up, and
stripped naked of your defenses.
you stand up,
wake up,
stars in your eyes,
not twinkling but blurry ones.
eyes swell of tears,
nose bleed,
ears tired of trash talk,
and unfulfilled promises.
you manage yesterday
but today you did not.
you were able today
but tomorrow you may not.
defenses were down,
you took the risk,
coz life would is boring if you hadnt.
you were brave enough,
but still you failed.
healing is nowhere near,
people will disgrace you,
& spit on you,
because you were stupid enough
to let them break you down.
you call on to a higher power,
it takes time to get an answer,
but you will get it for sure.
but what if its too late,
you were dead,
you were killed,
because you risked it all.
life is bitter and sweet,
would you care for a bite?
or youll just swallow the sweet
and spit out the bitter ones?
would you be able to know the difference,
once you put it in your mouth?
